Frist time in a car

My first time in a race car was down at Midvale Speedway.  I went to the race with a guy by the Blane #90p.  I was buying parts off him so that I could get started in racing.  He ask me to make the trip with him and I did.  On the final hot lap of the day he said "get in kid get your feet wet."  I was more then willing.  my first time in a car I was a little bit scared.  Never the less I went out and soon was passing and lookin good.  When I pulled in he ask "REALY you never been in a race car."  I was ready.

My own car
My first car was a Pure stock. WOW not fun I would say i did ok. My first night out I did not quaify so I had to start in the back.  Well when the green dropped I proved I knew my way to the front. Moving from 8th to 3rd in only 8 laps.  and finishing 5th in my feature.  I went home and said its time to move up. I jumped in the a Sports man that was not ready. But by the end of the year I was running in the 16's.  Finishing second and picking up some top fives.
